This instagrammable London rental has been given a complete overhaul by Jonathan Tuckey Design.
The Caithness Road property’s owner – a furniture maker and art collector turned property developer – enlisted Jonathan Tuckey to reconfigure the four-storey townhouse’s jumbled layout, transforming it into a light-filled contemporary home with millennial pink flushes.

Its new ground-floor extension has been built using yellow brick that blends the new elements with existing historic structure. Informal shared spaces fill this lower level of the five-bedroom dwelling – available for £2,600 per week via Domus Nova – which has white walls hung with artworks and soft pink ceilings. Fire-resistant red MDF has also been used to highlight nooks within its open floor plan.

A glass roof, crossed by wooden beams, also drenches the combined kitchen, dining and seating area in light.
Follow the black staircase up a level, and you reach the 2,987 sq ft London property’s formal spaces, including a grand entrance and traditional reception room.

Meanwhile bedrooms and an office are set across the two upper floors, and are kitted out with bespoke cabinetry and pale wooden floors.
Caithness Road is a short walk from Kensington Olympia, and is close to Hammersmith.
