The interiors of this Ibizan holiday home come with a fashion spin – the handiwork of BA&SH cofounder Barbara Boccara.
It sits in the Santa Eulalia countryside, near to San Juan, and eschews the traditional finca in favour of semi-industrial finishes. Built by architect Juan Romano, the four-bedroom villa has concrete floors and ceilings, offset by Boccara’s bohemian flourishes, which fill the 600 sqm bolthole with texture.

‘I painted all the big columns black,’ says Boccara, whose label BA&SH drew the attention of LVMH in 2015 when it bought a 50% share in the company. ‘I wanted a lot of lounges, inside and outside, to create a very chilled feeling. My priority was that no matter where you are, what corner you are in, you feel at home and completely relaxed.’
The contemporary Ibizan holiday home is available to rent via Ibiza Sotheby’s International Realty, starting from €34,776 per week. In the living room, wood-panelled walls and black pillars are juxtaposed with a raw 12-person dining table, and black metal-frame lighting pendants and chairs.
This black and white colour palette continues across the island property via white sofas and bed linen. Rooms are also filled with light thanks for floor-to-ceiling glass.
Outside there’s a swimming pool and sundeck with low-slung sofas and a wicker-shaded terrace. Added perks include a football pitch, gym and barbecue area, and a Range Rover for exploring the island.
Two further bedrooms can be found in the guesthouse, and a chef and housekeeping service are included.
