Polish studio Thisispaper has set up shop inside a pocket-sized former dental clinic in Warsaw.
The small Soviet-era space is now a gallery and store for the studio’s small creations, from bags to organic Japanese tea.

Thisispaper only made light changes to the raw, minimalist setting, leaving the resin floor but adding touches of birch plywood throughout. All the products are laid out on custom-built shelving – designed with furniture maker TYLKO – spanning the entire back wall.
Background music in the flagship store comes from a record player, a Dieter Rams-designed Braun Audio 1 Stereo.

‘We didn’t want to lose ourselves in a completely new project,’ says the studio. ‘That is why we decided to leave the residue of the panelling in this interior as a kind of reminiscence of the previous surrounding.’
Thisispaper Shop is on Odolańska in central Warsaw.
