London’s Royal Festival Hall is now home to Spiritland’s latest opening, which brings together food and music in 1970s-inspired surrounds.
Diners sit in leather booths surrounded by cane panelling and velvet curtains, chosen as a reference to classic record studios. Dark reds and browns emphasise the theatricality of the restaurant, while splashes of terrazzo add a hint of modernism.

‘We’ve endeavoured to create a space that combines a sense of intimacy with its own unique acoustic signature, a temple to music,’ says Spiritland creative director Patrick Clayton-Malone.
Spiritland Royal Festival Hall’s custom sound system is designed by Living Voice and features rare, vintage speakers from Air Partner, adapted for the brutalist space to offer a unique audio experience.

The London restaurant is open from breakfast until the wee hours, and alongside its menu of sharing plates it offers an ongoing programme of music, with artists set to play from their personal record collections every weekend.
