Rudolph M Schindler’s S T and Pauline Falk Apartments building is fresh from a refurb and is on the market in Los Angeles for $3.65m.

The architect completed the building in 1940, carefully planning each of its four units to make the most of its corner site while preserving the owner’s privacy.

Now the whole Silver Lake property is for sale via Ilana Gafni of Crosby Doe Associates, including its lavish two-bedroom multi-level penthouse with midcentury modern plywood ceilings and built-in mahogany cabinets.

Each of the units has its own outdoor space, either as ground floor patios or balcony terraces. Thanks to the building’s hillside location, there’s no shortage of views over Los Angeles either, especially from the penthouse’s roof terrace.
