Sharp angles and crisp lines define Santorini holiday home Villa Vora, embedded into the cliffs of the island’s famous caldera.

The complex comprises a cluster of three contemporary homes on the north shore of the island, designed by Athens-based K-Studio – also behind the Perianth Hotel and Scorpios Mykonos. The practice has taken cues from traditional Cycladic architecture to create the trio of villas, whose smooth white walls offset the surrounding volcanic terrain.

Villa Vora is available to rent via Design Hotels from €645 per night and each house comprises three rooms and a clifftop terrace. Every space across the Greek holiday home has carefully choreographed views and contrasting spaces.

Interiors have a cave-like quality thanks to curving, rendered white walls, arched windows and black volcanic rock. They juxtapose the natural textures of furniture and the rocky outcrops which cut routes through the clifftop site.
