Visitors to Copenhagen can browse Vipp goods during an overnight stay at its Chimney House – a two-bedroom apartment in a converted water pumping station.
The home is part of the Vipp ‘hotel’ concept, which has seen the design brand take over individual locations, fill them with its furniture, and rent them out.
This latest addition is designed by Studio David Thulstrup and has two bedrooms and bathrooms set over two floors. It’s as minimal as you’d expect, with terrazzo flooring running throughout the open-plan living space, sculptural lighting and pared-back pieces of furniture.
Chimney House is in Hellerup, around 5km from central Copenhagen and starts from €2,000 for two nights. Vipp also has two other locations on offer – a glass forest shelter near Sweden’s Lake Immeln, and a loft located over the brand’s offices in Copenhagen’s harbourfront.
