The Immerso Cabin lets guests sleep under the starry night sky, thanks to its completely transparent roof.

Located in the alpine village of Usseaux, the hut is intended to help people unplug and reconnect with nature – all without having to unpack their tent.

Immerso is designed by Italian architects Fabio Vignolo and Francesca Turnaturi, who created it using plywood panels. The flat-pack cabin takes just two hours to assemble and doesn’t require electrical tools, meaning it can be installed in remote locations.

There’s room for two in the glamping hut – available to rent from £67 per night – although it’ll be a snug fit, with the cabin measuring just 6 sqm. At night time, guests can draw the curtains and focus on the sky views, while in the morning Immerso’s front end opens straight onto the surrounding field, which you might find yourself sharing with the local cows.
