Watch the leaves turn from this lakeside tiny home in Ontario, which is wrapped in peaceful woodland.

The Belleville bolthole – available to rent via Glamping Hub from $146 CAD per night – is close to Lake Ontario and measures just 100 sq ft. It makes the most of its small floorplate through smart design and has a mezzanine-level sleeping area tucked beneath its roof.

Its exterior has been given a bold red coat while interiors have slatted pine walls, punctuated by square glass windows. While there’s no bathroom or shower inside the Canadian holiday home, there is an outhouse nearby with toilet and open-air showers.

The Belleville cabin sits in 30 acres of woodland, with hiking and biking trails, rock climbing and bird watching spots on the doorstep. And being on Lake Ontario, there’s access to swimming, kayaking and canoeing for those willing to brave the autumn chill. For the less brave, drink in the views or relax with a book and a blanket on the cabin’s deck.
