Space may be at a premium in the English capital but Studio Alexander Fehre has shown size isn’t everything with its revamp of a tiny apartment near London Bridge.
The Stuttgart-based interior design firm has brightened up the 45 sq m flat with bold wallpaper – including monochrome and foliage-patterned designs – and introduced mirrored surfaces to give the impression of additional space.
It also built bespoke shelving in the narrow kitchen as well as the bathroom area, which comes equipped with a walk-in shower.
Each room in the house has a starkly different colour palette: a feature wall in the bedroom is painted in purple while the dining area’s furniture is red.
‘It all goes to show that 45 sq m in London can definitely be enough of a good thing,’ said the firm.
