Circles run throughout this retro-futuristic home on Florida’s Julie Lagoon – which comes complete with a bubble-shaped window.
The two-bedroom house – which is listed via agent Martie Lieberman for Premier Sotheby’s International Realty at $350k– was built in 1971, and designed by architect Dan Duckham. It follows the organic architecture movement, featuring round rooms that create a ‘freeform’ layout, and curved concrete walls contrasted by exterior wood panelling.

Many of the Florida property’s interior details are original, featuring built-in storage, beds and seating, which are designed to hug the rounded walls of the all-white house. A vaulted ceiling adds height to the main living area, which features – you guessed it – a circular fireplace as well as a distinctive dome-shaped window.

Bedrooms look out onto the surrounding garden through sliding doors, and there’s a separate study that opens onto a plant-filled courtyard. Palm trees and greenery surround the property, which also has an unusual wedge-shaped pool that appears to float on top of a pond. Bathers can look onto the nearby Julie Lagoon canal.
The Lutz house is a short walk away from Hanna Lake, and 15 minutes drive from the Tampa airport.
