Arizona is known for its arid, desert terrain, but this modernist property by Will Bruder pays homage to its waterfront setting.
On the market via Scott and Debbie Jarson of AZ Architecture for $1.199m, Pond House was built in 2005 on the boundary between desert and riverbank in Cave Creek. The two-bedroom Arizona property sits on a plot of 5.67 acres and features a weathered steel exterior, which blends the house with its rocky surrounds.

Pond House is a split-level dwelling, set across 1,621 sq ft. The main living space comprises the kitchen, seating and dining area, with floor-to-ceiling glass looking out onto a cantilevered concrete deck, with views of the Spur Cross Ranch Conservation Area.
Interiors across the Desert Modernist property feature exposed concrete floors, stone walls, plywood ceilings and Venetian plaster finishes.
Pond House is located at 5115 E Rockaway Hills Drive, around 27 miles northeast of Phoenix.
