There’s more than meets the eye inside this Parisian atelier – built using materials reclaimed from the 1900 World Exhibition.
The 104 sqm artist’s studio is on the market via agents Espaces Atypiques for €2.15m. It sits inside a former industrial building between Étoile and Place Victor Hugo in the city’s 16th arrondissement.

Large wooden double doors lead into the living room, which has steel-framed windows at the front and a towering six-metre-high glass which drenches the space in light. Exposed beams cross the walls and ceiling, while a carved wooden staircase leads to two bedrooms on the upper level.
Parquet flooring and original windows can be found throughout, though the Paris property will need a lick of paint to modernise its bones.
