Grammy nominated DJ Moby has listed one of his two Los Feliz homes for $4.495m after giving it a top-to-toe minimalist makeover.
The architecture loving musician bought Red Oak Manor back in 2016 and has completely renovated the 4,644 sq ft mock-Tudor property. Moby has blended Red Oak Manor’s 1920s features – which include vaulted ceilings and wood burning fireplaces – with white-walls, hardwood floors and bespoke cabinetry.
Red Oak Manor is on the market via Patrick Martin of Sotheby’s International Realty. The two-storey Los Angeles property comes with a free-form swimming pool and new outdoor living room, complete with seating and a dining area.
Four bedrooms and a yoga studio are spread across the upper floor of Moby’s home, while staff quarters – with their own entrance and steam room – are tucked into a corner of the house.
The house’s new owner will still be able to call the musician their neighbour – Moby also owns another property just down the road.
