With its sand-coloured exterior, the low-key Casa Moderna on the coast of Mexico’s Todos Santos cedes the spotlight to a greater beauty: endless views of the Pacific Ocean.
Architect Jorge Gracia of Gracia Studio designed the 1,500 sq ft, three-bed home to make the most of its location on the Baja California peninsula. Everything is geared towards drawing the interior spaces out: bedrooms open onto a central living space that in turn folds out to the beachfront terrace.
Doors fling wide open to create a large alfresco living area and the interior palette of white and natural woods gives way to the sandy beach and blue waters of the swimming pool and ocean.
And should the sea view grow tiresome, the property – available for $485,000 via Boutique Homes – has some fresh comforts closer to home with palm trees, blue agave plants and avocado trees surrounding the property.
