This prefab hut could be the answer to working from home, designed as an off-grid office space that’s small enough to squeeze into the garden.
Its faceted, charred wood exterior cuts a striking figure, intended to ‘enhance the landscape’, as Koto founder Zoe Little explains, as well as help people reconnect with nature.
One sloping side is almost entirely glazed, giving plenty of opportunity for gazing at the scenery during moments of boredom or procrastination. Otherwise, the interiors are minimal, lined with plywood to create a blank canvas.
According to Koto, the entire cabin – which starts at £26,000 – is carbon neutral. It’s available to buy off the shelf, or as a customised version.
