Its interiors are not exactly out of this world but for $375,000 space enthusiasts can get their hands on astronaut Neil Armstrong’s former home in Texas.
The El Lago property is close to NASA’s Johnson Space Centre, and around 30 minutes drive from Houston. Armstrong and his family lived at the Texas property throughout the 1960s, during the Gemini and Apollo missions, according to Realtor.com.
Built in 1964, the modest brick and timber home retains its midcentury bones but interiors need an update to bring them into the 21st century.
The great room is crowned by a beamed, vaulted ceiling and towering rock wall with fireplace. There are also four-bedrooms, a separate kitchen and dining room, and a grassy backyard with a small swimming pool.
