A radical dome home by architect Jean Daladier is for sale in France’s Sens – priced at just €150,000.
Three Cupolas is one of four dwellings built by the architect at the site, outside of Paris, between 1968 and 1982. It comprises three interconnected cupolas with exposed geodesic facets and an exposed concrete shell.
Living spaces are set across two levels, with a double-height living room taking centre stage. It’s organised around a sculptural suspended fireplace and opens the landscaped grounds via triangular bay windows.
The three-bedroom dome home is available via Architecture de Collection, but its knock-down price reflects the fact the heritage-listed house will need some conservation work (estimated to the tune of €300,000.)
You can negotiate a package deal, however: the house and two nearby Daladier structures are for sale, plus land, for €500,000.
