Tom Dixon has designed a rooftop spa at London’s 150-acre Greenwich Peninsula development – and it channels a softer version of the British designer’s signature industrial aesthetic.
Concrete has been contrasted with warm woods and gentle hues inside the relaxation space, dubbed Renew, while other elements – including a huge electro-plated reception desk and blacked steel doors – nod to British craftsmanship.
Renew sits atop No 2 Upper Riverside, which is the second of five towers at Greenwich Peninsula with Tom Dixon-designed lofts. Amenities include a sleek swimming pool, steam room, exercise terrace and two state-of-the-art gyms with dramatic skyline backdrops.
