Designed as a contemporary interpretation of traditional Kellerstöckl wine cellars, Weinloft II looks out and across Austria’s Pannonian Basin.
The one-bedroom cabin sits in the middle of a Burgenland vineyard, meaning guests can wander down the rows of vines which creep almost up to the doorstep.
A glass-front floods the home with light, but also creates views down the sloping vineyard and over the lowlands beyond. The interiors are lined with wood, in true cabin style, but they’re contrasted by industrial touches including concrete floors, and a steel staircase that leads up to the master bedroom.
Guests can enjoy the view while lounging in bed – or the freestanding bathtub – or head out to the front porch to soak up the last rays of evening sun. The cabin is available to book via Holiday Architecture starting at €135 per night.
